Malcolm has painted in watercolour, from pencil sketches drawn in the field to studio paintings, for 20 years. Recently, he has started to paint collages with acrylics.
Architecture always seems to appear in his paintings, and being a surveyor has given him an in-depth understanding of linear perspective.
His favourite subjects are the coastal fishing villages of England, Scotland and Wales with Staithes in North Yorkshire being his top place to visit and paint.
He was also the "wild card" in a few episodes of Landscape Artist of the Year!
